Inspection processes

In addition to all standard non-destructive testing methods (ultrasound, X-ray, flux leakage, eddy current), we also work with test methods specially developed by our experts » learn more.

Optical inspection methods

Operational reliability also in harsh industrial environments.

We develop and build compact, robust systems that operate reliably and precisely to ensure the rapid, non-contact quality control of products and manufacturing plants. Used in pipe and steel production as well as in laboratory applications, these systems can

  • Measure dimensions
  • Determine presence and/or position
  • Determine defects
  • Ensure identification

Corrosion and corrosion protection tests

Highly reproducible test results.

We work intensively on the development of new test methods, and the improvement of existing ones, used to investigate the corrosion resistance of metallic materials and to evaluate innovative corrosion protection methods and systems.

Process developments create standardized tests and investigations for industrial applications. All test methods are developed in close collaboration with manufacturers and users within the framework of standardizations committees and technical associations. In the new development of the “twist and bend” test for stress-oriented hydrogen-induced cracking, we have taken a role.

We place utmost importance on replicating the specific conditions of use as precisely as possible. The test results can serve a variety of purposes – to prevent damaging conditions, for example, or to select suitable materials. Further information about our corrosion tests is available here.
