We work intensively on the development of new test methods, and the improvement of existing ones, used to investigate the corrosion resistance of metallic materials and to evaluate innovative corrosion protection methods and systems.

Process developments create standardized tests and investigations for industrial applications. All test methods are developed in close collaboration with manufacturers and users within the framework of standardizations committees and technical associations. In the new development of the “twist and bend” test for stress-oriented hydrogen-induced cracking, we have taken a role.

We place utmost importance on replicating the specific conditions of use as precisely as possible. The test results can serve a variety of purposes – to prevent damaging conditions, for example, or to select suitable materials. Further information about our corrosion tests is available here.
